Hi everyone,
Was just wondering if any of you musicians play Country, and if so, what style (Ie Bluegrass, Traditional, contempary, more rock-edged stuff, etc), and what instrument you play. I'm learning mandolin myself at the moment but can't play anything much yet tune-wise.
Cheers,
Jess.
Well Jes, I play all kinds of music. I'm a keyboard player, but I play lots of instruments, and unfortunately, I'm better at some and worse at others. I play some guitar and autoharp, and a little plucked dulcimer. Mandolin is a neat instrument, and I've heard it in everything from jazz to classical. Have fun and enjoy!

No metal and goth, country is just too miserable.
Thanks for your replies all.
Any others?
:)
I play southern gospel piano. I also enjoy playing some bluegrass on bass and guitar from time to time, and would love to learn to play the steel.
I play country as well as old time fiddle music and classical. I started out playing the violin classically and then switched over to country and old time fiddle music. I have more fun when I'm playing these styles. I also play mandolin, guitar, piano, bass, and percussion. When I lived in the states, I was in several bands including an old time fiddle band as well as a country one. Hoping to find a band over here in England.

I play piano. I hope to learn how to play country soon. Because I just love it! it's all I listen too.
